Paul’s Story:

In Jamaica, Paul is ostracized by his neighbors for being openly gay. He tries to flee to the United Kingdom, but will he make it into the country? Version française de “Nulle part où me réfugier”Versión española de “Ningún lugar adónde huir”.

Lukela’s Story:

Marwan’s Story:

Naheed’s Story:

Naheed’s father kicks her out of the house after eavesdropping on her and her girlfriend. She and her lover try to flee to Turkey, but the girlfriend is intercepted. As I Am: Understanding the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity of Refugees

“As I Am” is the first educational film specifically developed to allow lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) refugees to tell the stories of their dire struggles in their own voices, to make the journey safer for those who follow.
