Management Consultant Ali Khoie is originally from Iran. He has a multifaceted operationsbackground spanning eight years that includes organizational, project, and database management. Ali also has extensive knowledge of refugee procedures and protection. He holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an M.S. in Transportation Planning.

Subhi Nahas is ORAM’s System Administrator and Designer. Subhi, who is originally from Syria, has more than five years experience in a variety of fields including graphic design, translation, editing, and project management, and has worked in international non-governmental organizations and traditional and new media. Subhi studied Information Technology at Alitihad University and English Translation at Albaath University in Syria.

Both Ali and Subhi previously assisted ORAM in Turkey.

ORAM’s internal communications are in the hands of journalist Heather Cassell. Heather has more than 20 years experience writing for LGBTI and women’s publications including LGBTI international news. She also has a background working for nonprofit organizations. Heather earned her B.A. in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.
