Personal data protection according to EUDATAP and DSGVO (European and German laws)
By contacting us via email or by registering for our newsletter, you agree that your personal data may be processed by ORAM. In such cases, the EU Data Protection Regulation (EUDATAP-2018) and the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO 2018) are applicable.
Personal data is information that might help us identify you (e.g. first and last names, email addresses or phone numbers). Any personal data processed for statistical purposes is anonymous and no personal information can be retrospectively sourced.
The following personal data might be saved and processed: email address, names, type of request, phone number, date of birth. No such data will be forwarded to third parties without your prior authorisation.
ORAM is legally bound to professional confidentiality and any personal data is kept secure from access by external unauthorized parties. Saved personal data can be stored for up to 10 years.
Anonymous, non-personal statistical data (including gender, age, general subject of the inquiry, country of origin) may be processed, saved, analysed and shared with third parties without authorisation. The origin of such data is not possible to source.
Your rights concerning your personal data.
Pursuant to the EUDATAP-2018 you have rights concerning your personal data as a beneficiary of our Germany-based services.
According to DSGVO Article 15, you have the right to information concerning the saving and use of your personal data by ORAM.
According to DSGVO and EUDATAP Articles 16 and 17, you may request that ORAM correct and/or erase your personal data without undue delay, and ORAM shall have the obligation to do so.
According to EUDATAP Article 18 and DSGVO Article 18, you may request that ORAM restrict processing of all or part of your personal data. These data will not be erased but will not be further used by ORAM without your explicit permission.
According to DSGVO and EUDATAP Article 20, you may ask for any of your personal data which ORAM has saved. This will be delivered to you free of charge in a structured, widely used and machine-readable format. You will be able to transmit these data to any other party as you wish.
Pursuant DSGVO and EUDATAP Article 21, you may object in writing at any time to the saving of your personal data by ORAM.
Pursuant to DSGVO and EUDATAP Article 46, ORAM will transmit personal data to a third country or an international organization only after the appropriate safeguards have been provided.
